We've built up quite a stash of toilet paper tubes... easy to do around here! Lol! The other day we put a festive spin on them; we made a Christmas tree on canvas.

First we painted 4 or 5 tubes green.
Once they dried we cut them in half-- horizontally-- the long way.
Next we used hot glue to place them on the canvas
Lastly, my son used pom poms and glitter glue for decorations.
I think it turned out real cute! It took a couple hours to do because we had to let the paint dry, but otherwise it was very simple and easy to do.
While we waited for the paint to dry we read some of our favorite Christmas Tree stories:
We always have loads of tph and my youngest is always asking to paint - I think he could do this!

What a great idea ! We always have a ton of toilet paper and paper towel rolls saved up. This would be a great way to use them. Definitely filing this away for next year. Thanks for the inspiration !
